Join us on November 5th for a fun and interactive workshop where children will learn how to make a delicious apple pie crisp! This hands-on class is perfect for young chefs eager to explore the joy of baking. Kids will dive into the world of cooking, discovering how to prepare fresh apples and mix the perfect crisp topping. They'll get to measure ingredients, learn about kitchen safety, and experience the delightful aromas of baking. As they create their very own apple pie crisp, children will also have the chance to share in the excitement of cooking together, making new friends and enjoying a tasty treat at the end. With guidance from our experienced instructors, everyone is sure to leave with a tasty dessert and newfound culinary skills. Don’t miss out on this delicious opportunity to learn and have fun in the kitchen! **PLEASE NOTE: 25 Participants MAX Per Class All Age Groups Welcome (Classes geared towards Elementary/Middle School ages.) A Parent or Guardian MUST stay for class to assist participating children. **Child Expectations We expect that each child during class... 1. Will stay in their seat during class time unless instructed by the teacher. 2. Will use their inside voices during class time to be respectful of everyone. 3. Use their big listening ears while the teacher is giving instructions. 4. Raise their hand if they have a question, and not be afraid to ask questions. 5. Will listen and follow all safety instructions. 6. Enjoy their time in class while learning new and fun things! Parent Expectations We expect that each parent during class... 1. Will stand or sit near their child throughout the entire duration of class. 2. Will be hands-on with their child during instructional times. 3. Will facilitate their child’s learning in class. 4. Ensure all safety instructions and guidelines are kept by their student. 5. Will respect other participants, teachers, assistants, and surrounding office workers. If These Expectations are NOT Met. A warning will be given by the teacher, teaching assistant, or program director and discuss disturbances during class. If behavior is repeated, the student may be asked to no longer join homeschool class due to the continued disturbances.
