HOMEGROWN: POSTPONED

Hello friends!

Due to a variety of unexpected challenges, we have decided to reschedule the Homegrown Event.  Augusta Locally Grown will hold a Farm Field Day on March 7, 2026, at The Teaching Farm and our 2026 Homegrown event will be scheduled for November 13-15, 2026.  More details about these events will be coming soon.

Thank you,

Augusta Locally Grown

COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Q: Why did you reschedule the event?

A: There were a variety of technical challenges that we encountered with our ticketing and social media sites.  There were also some Federal Financial concerns that we needed to prioritize over the event expenses.  Finally, there were some community members that were facing challenges which required our immediate attention and resources.

Q: Is this because of the shutdown?

A: The shutdown and SNAP benefit issues were certainly a factor in our decision, but not the main/only factors.

Q: Are you canceling or rescheduling?

A: We are rescheduling.  The homesteading backbone of this event will be moved to the March 7, 2026, date.  The full event (with some additional enhancements) will be held in November of 2026.

Q: Can I get a refund for my tickets?

A: Yes, ticket costs are being fully refunded.

Q: Can I get a refund of my vendor fees?

A: You have the option of getting a refund for your vendor fees OR you can shift your vendor fees to the March event.

Q: What is Farm Field Day?

A: Farm Field Day is farmers teaching farmers. In this single day event, we will host several farming and homesteading demonstrations along with a farm hand competition, a chicken show, vendors, food, and a S’mores social with live music.  We will launch ticket sales in time for Holiday gifting.
